FRIENDS. TRADITION. HEIMAT
Driving in between snow storms to a lovely village, Waidring in Tirol. Arriving in front of a cozy looking chalet called Alpegg Chalet. Roland, the owner of the chalets welcomed us warmly. The long travelling day made me feel tired and ready to fall asleep.
Waking up early in the morning right in the middle of a beautiful winter wonderland made me feel like a princess in a fairy tale.
The chalet looked like „back at home“ felt simply amazing. Walking into that chalet had a special charm. Surrounded by gorgeous details the chalet is basically made out of wood. The living room has special decoration which makes chilling in the sofa super cozy. Right next to it the sauna invites for relaxing hours after having an amazing skiing day in the close ski resorts.
The kitchen made us inviting our friends who came over for dinner. The steak tasted delicious.
I personally felt in love with that place after waking up in the morning, super ready for having a lovely breakfast. We received freshly made bread from the local bakery, fresh eggs from the chickens which are owned by the family. The fresh milk was delivered in an old super local milk jug, which I just remember from my grand ma’s stories. It is so HEIMAT (home).
HEIMAT TIROL – I am super proud being grown up where people take care about our tradition and appreciate our nature. The love the family put into every chalet reflected in our mood. We were happy to be here. Cornelia and Roland have come up with every detail that made the chalet so comfortable.
The family who runs the chalet was super friendly, they were interested in getting to know us while enjoying a self made „Schnaps“ and some yummy candies. Even the son of Roland, the owner of the Alpegg Chalet had a chat with us.
The warm environment and the lovely made details the chalet had to offer made us feel happy to be there. Definitely a must see for families but also for friends and everyone who wants to enjoy the Tirolean tradition and quality in a cozy surrounding. Everyone who wants to connect home and wants to get inspired.
