Lofoten, April 2024 – In Between Ski Touring and Content Creation

A dream destination, a creative mission, and the magic of the Arctic North.

Lofoten has been on my bucket list for years—and in April 2024, I finally made it happen. This wasn’t just another ski trip; it was an adventure fueled by vision, creativity, and connection. Together with my company, boutiq.vision, I organized a content production project for the German underwear brand Mey. Our mission: to create exceptional visual storytelling and put Mey’s new ski underwear to the test in extreme alpine conditions.

Ski Touring in Lofoten – Wild, Remote & Real

For seven days, our small expert team—photographer Domi, mountain guide Mario, and myself—chased lines, light, and stories across the rugged terrain of Lofoten. Every day, we planned ski tours based on weather, snowpack, and light conditions, climbing steep couloirs and skiing untouched slopes, from coastline cliffs to hidden valleys. We stayed in cozy Norwegian hytter, soaked in the quiet power of the Arctic, and lived in harmony with nature. We skied in incredible spring conditions—melt-freeze cycles, soft corn snow, and dreamy descents under magical light.

Why Lofoten?

Lofoten is raw, wild, and for advanced skiers only. Its beauty is matched by its technical demands—steep terrain, no-fall zones, and a sense of exposure you won’t find elsewhere. But for me, that’s part of the magic. I fell in love with the morning light, the backcountry silence, and the people of the North. As someone with a Scandinavian soul, jumping into the ocean every morning felt like coming home. (Yes, I did that every single day! ❄️)

Who Should Ski Here?

Lofoten is for experienced backcountry skiers, with strong technique and solid decision-making. It’s not about rushing—it’s about being in sync with your team, the mountain, and the moment. That’s why I value skiing with people who share the same mindset, rhythm, and respect for nature. If you’re dreaming of a next-level ski touring trip with purpose and passion—I’d love to guide you there. Whether it’s with me or my trusted friends, we tailor every journey based on your skills and dreams. No templates. No mass tours. Just your experience.

More Than Just Skiing

The Lofoten experience isn’t just about skiing. It’s about surfing cold waves, eating local food, and connecting with nature in a deeper way. The Lofoten Ski Lodge makes for an incredible base—and with a good guide (like me 😉), you’ll experience the best of it.

🔥 Pro Tip:

Travel in March if you’re hoping to see the Northern Lights. Go in April for longer days, milder conditions, and perfect light for photos and filming.

Let’s Create and Enjoy Together

If you’re a brand, content agency, or adventurer looking to produce high-end visuals, experience untouched terrain, or collaborate on a custom ski adventure, let’s talk. My experience as a ski mountain guide, content producer, and model allows me to combine storytelling with mountain magic—and I’d love to share that with you.
